october 13th is an exciting day for several reasons this year:
1. it means only 3 more days until our big washington dc trip...yay!

2. it's my madre's birthday
happy birthday mom :)and last but not least,
3. mason turns 6 months old!
wow! already a half a year has gone by with this crazy/beautiful kid.
throughout these past 6 months we have learned several things:
about mason:
mason hates peas
he thinks trees are fascinating
he loves to listen to his mom play the piano
he is an early teether...6 teeth at 6 months with possibly one more on the way
mason could easily kick any other baby's butt in a cutest baby contest...you know this when everyone and their pet dog stop to tell you how cute your kid is :)
he thinks "sleep in" is a curse word
forget crawling...mason wishes he could walk
he has the most gorgeous eyes i have ever seen...i can't even come up with a color to describe them.
he is a huge momma's boy...but he loves his dad too :)
he thinks it is hilarious to see his dad and grandpa working their butts off around the yard
mason loves his jumper
he is quite the roly-poly...he knows how to roll left, right, up, down and all around
about parenting:
it's hard.
it's wonderful.
we love it :)

Wow it's hard to believe it's been six months already. He is growing so fast, it's wonderful. Wait, no it's not. That means Hannah is six months to. NOOO. They have to stay babies. Have fun on your trip.
