on saturday, we went and got christmas trees with my family. it was cold, the snow was deep, but we did quite enjoy ourselves.
this is my dad cutting a notch in our tree. as you can see, we chose a rather tall one :)

How fun! I am always worried that a live tree will catch on fire because I am too lazy to water it. The drawback is that you miss out on the fun of getting it and the fantastic smell. Your tree turned out beautifully.

cool tree. We got ours the day after thanksgiving and I still haven't had time to decorate it yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
